MGK reinvents itself on the new album Lost Americana, with a narration of Bob Dylan – Music News

Kelly machine gun again changes tracks on her new album, Lost Americaa.

Released on Friday (08.08.25), the rapper who became a rocker proves that he is not a pony-pony while he crosses genres on the monitoring of the 2022 consumer sale.

Especially known for its debut in rap and two graphic pop -punk albums – tickets for my fall and the general public sale – the 35 -year -old artist enters a new territory with a sound that relies on country, folk and classic influences from Heartland Rock.

MGK – whose real name is Colson Baker – previously told people not to want to be a pigeon: “I choose not to stay in a company box.

“All I do is entertain, and entertainment cannot be so serious.”

The LP was teased for the first time in June with a film trailer told by none other than Bob Dylan. In the clip, the folk legend has described the disc as “a sound map of forgotten places, a tribute to the reinvention spirit and a quest to recover the essence of American freedom”.

Dylan, 84, said: “From the glow of the guests to the rumble of motorcycles, it is music that celebrates the beauty found in the intermediate spaces.

“When the past is redesigned, and the future is forged according to your own conditions.”

Initially, the fans wondered if Dylan’s voice in the teaser was legitimate – but during an appearance in The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last week, MGK confirmed that it was indeed a roller Hitmaker.

He said, “To be honest, I don’t know how he even knows who I am.

“And I’m sure if I say the bad thing, I’m going to spoil everything, so I’m just going to be silent and accept everything Bob Dylan says.”

The narration occurred after Dylan published a MGK clip performing on his Instagram in February, leaving the world of amazed music.

Lost Americana is now available on all the main streaming platforms.
