Spurs in contact to sign “Star of 43 million pounds sterling”
Thomas Frank will face a huge task in his first season as a manager of Tottenham Hotspur, after his Brentford appointment a few weeks ago.
The Danish took the reins of Angel Postocoglou, the hierarchy wanting the team to reach the next step during their mandate in northern London.
After the triumph of the Europa League last season, the Lilywhites will enter the Champions League, a situation which presents in Frank his first challenge as boss of the club.
He will have to find a balance between Europe and the Premier League, needing to set up the table throughout 2025/26 while being competitive in the largest club competition on the continent.
If the new boss must be a success, he will need Daniel Levy to support him on the transfer market and give him the funds to strengthen himself in key areas and find a balance with his players.
The last on spurs hunting for new signatures this summer
The Department of Northern London attacks has been the main objective of the Spurs in the past two weeks, with many names on their radar before a potential transfer.
The tastes of Arnaud Kalimuendo and Harvey Elliott were both firmly on the Lilywhites radar, but however, no offer was concluded for the aforementioned duo.
While discussions have taken place for the pair, work has also been done elsewhere, with a movement for Ademola Lookman of Atalanta on the cards during the dead.
The latest TBR Football report says that Frank’s team was in contact with its representatives for a move in northern London, also an Arsenal interested in its signature.
They also claim that it could be available for costs in the region of 43 million pounds Sterling this summer after having recorded 20 goals and six assists for the last SERIE A campaign.
Why the objective of 43 million pounds of the Spurs would be a better signature than Kudus & Eze
In addition to the previous targets mentioned, Ebelechi Eze and Mohammed Kudus have both been frequently mentioned as potential additions to his other Premier League Crystal Palace and West Ham United teams.
The Englishman played as a palace throughout 2024/25, recording eight goals and eight assists in the league, even winning the unlikely triumph of the Eagles in FA.
Such a form has also led to a keen interest on the part of its northern compatriot of London Arsenal, the competition seeming to be fierce for its signature throughout the deadly.
As for Kudus, he currently has a liberation clause of 85 million pounds sterling in his contract, with an agreement for his signature likely to cost around 60 million pounds sterling, potentially negotiating an agreement with the Hammers after their initial contact.
The two players would be excellent options for Lilywhites in their quest for success, but could prove to be too expensive, in particular given the inflated costs given their English high flight status.
Lookman could prove to be a much cheaper alternative, but also a better option in the last third, surpassing the Premier League duo in several key areas.
The Nigerian, who was labeled “world class” by John Bennett from the BBC, recorded more goals and aid throughout 2024/25, as well as a higher fire on the target precision rate – demonstrating his threat in the last third.

He also recorded more key passes by 90, as well as other worn in the opposition box, presenting his direct nature, which allowed him to be a constant threat for countless backles.
The complete domination of Lookman is also highlighted in his count of the antennas won and the finished crosses, having the talent in many key areas to make him a versatile option in the Frank system.
We do not know which of the three players the club will continue this window, but it is obvious that Lookman would be the best option for the Lilywhites during the current window.
All three would massively improve the options available to the dune, but the Nigerian has the additional quality which could take the side throughout 2025/26.
