Robin Wright explains why she abandoned the United States for the United Kingdom

Robin Wright likes his decision to leave the United States and move to the United Kingdom.
In an interview with The Times UK, Wright explained that his choice of decamper from the United States and moving through the Atlantic led to “self-freedom”. She said that she felt much less precipitated in recent years after her move to the G0-G0-GO energy in the United States.
“America is like – around … I like to be in this country. There is freedom of oneself here. People are so nice,” said Wright. “They live. They are not in the car in traffic, panicked on a phone call, eating a sandwich. It is most of America. Everything is rush, competition and speed.”
Wright is far from the only celebrity to leave the country. Many have chosen to move following the re -election of President Donald Trump in 2024. Rosie O’Donnell left and went to Ireland but managed to remain a thorn on the president’s side despite the difference.
“It was heartbreaking to see what is going on there politically and hard for me personally,” said O’Donnell. “When you know, it is sure that all citizens have equal rights in America, it is then that we will consider returning.”
O’Donnell calls from Ireland even led the threatening president to revoke his American citizenship.
Former “Star Wars”, Mark Hamill, also considered leaving for the United Kingdom or Ireland after the Trump elections. His wife convinced him to stay after having pointed out to leave would be like Trump’s victory.
“She is very intelligent,” he said. “She did not respond immediately, but a week later, she said,” I am surprised that you allow her to force you to get out of your own country. This slut’s son, I thought.
Ellen Degeneres also moved with her wife Portia de Rossi in the United Kingdom after the Trump elections, telling the broadcaster Richard Bacon that after planning to live part-time, these plans changed in November. “We say to each other:” We stay here “.”
