Overview of the series: Seattle Mariners against San Diego Padres

A match between two second -class clubs trying to dethrone the long -standing behemoths in their divisions? Huh-uh-hawwwuhhhh, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah it’s time for the Vedder Cup again. The two ball clubs would really prefer to play someone else at this stage of the season, given their insignificance relating to each other in hunting in the playoffs and the global force, but this year, the Cup presents a real trophy, designed by the man himself. San Diego de Seattle’s scanning in May has the M in good position to bring the equipment home.

Padres are a fascinating facsimile of the 2024 navy, with the second best prevention of the race in MLB, but an incoherent range of stars and scrubs which also have them in the lower third of the league by points. Neck and neck with the Dodgers in the ranking and in Baseruns, these days, these “Dres are fed by an enclosure of dynamite which has four or five listers which could easily close for many clubs. Their rotation was besieged by an injury and a certain underperformance, but the formula is quite simple-get an advance early and vice.

Like the current Seattle command, it is surprising to watch the best nine of San Diego and to know that this team was one of the worst to score baseball points this season. All of the nine at the end of their nets are the most higher battle-up, including Bogaerts, Cronenworth and Tatis ‘rebound campaigns which continue to validate the brothers’ investments in their list. San Diego lost Jason Heyward, Tyler Wade and Brandon Lockridge from their range since Seattle has played them for the last time, in favor of the O’Hearn and Laureano des Orioles escapes. The recipient remains a defect in order, because the suspension of Luis Campusano has left an already doubtful group entirely doubtful. Recent injuries to play the FF Jackson Merrill bring it out of the alignment for the length of the Seattle series.

From an overview of the previous series:
JP Sears is a familiar enemy, having been written and developed by the Navy and spending the last three years as a de facto AS. His trends to the extreme fly ball were reduced a touch last year after adding a lead to his mixture of pitch, but he has always authorized 28 circuits to fly over the fence. Despite the continuous problem of Dinger, he actually lowered his time a little while going beyond his FIP and XFIP by fairly wide margins.
Even after being exchanged A on the deadline for trade, the navy cannot escape against JP Sears for the third time this season.

Dylan Cease is in the middle of a really strange year of his second season with the Padres. All of its peripherals comply with its career standards – it always withdraws more than 30% of the strikers with which it is confronted and its contact management peripherals seem quite decent. Despite all this, his time is more than a complete race higher than his FIP and it is a little difficult to understand why. Its babip is more than 50 points more than last year and its lob level is a little lower than normal.

The walls could finally get closer to Yu Darvish. Less than two weeks withdrawn from his 39th birthday, he will face Seattle in the middle of his worst season in the United States by many measures. The Japanese star only withdrew 22% of adversaries this year, a sum which has been down constant since 2020, but he continues to make his way through the outings while he deepens the inflammation of the elbow which held him away for the first half of 2025.

Houston mainly took care of business in Baltimore after abandoning a home series against the birds to start the week, leaving things where they spent much of last month and change. Two games separate Seattle and the division, the Astros welcoming the Colorado Rockies for three in their last Cakewalk match of the season. Meanwhile, the Rangers brought back to cries away with a hot weekend, making the absolute worst they could for the Guardians by depositing three of the four in the Royals, then swept Cleveland in a losing record. They will face the angels, while Kansas City obtains a last party of the White Sox.
Above Seattle, the heavyweight fight between Boston and New York has made the way for the Red Sox, as he did all the season, with the Bronx bombers recovering the Sunday match before going to DC. They can share the train with the Bosox, which will be removed a little earlier and will face Baltimore for four. The theme is clear: the opponents of M will have favorable clashes the next three days while Seattle faces a heavyweight NL, prepare yourself mentally.
