A mystery that has lasted for more than 40 years could finally be solved. The circumstances surrounding Natalie Wood The death has long been the subject of much speculation, but even the most experienced investigators have not found a concrete answer to this tragedy. Now that his life is coming to an end, Natalie’s widower Robert Wagner is apparently ready to shed light on what happened in the early hours of November 29, 1981.
“He (Robert) will almost certainly make a deathbed confession,” a close source revealed. The last sighting of Natalie was on November 28, 1981. Distantly, people say she and Robert were arguing as she screamed for her life aboard the yacht Splendor off the coast of Catalina Island in California.
Christopher Walken and the captain, Dennis Davern, were also on the yacht at the time of Natalie’s drowning. His body was discovered early the next morning.

Guilt over Natalie’s death is apparently not something Robert wants to take to his grave. “Natalie’s death is probably the only thing Wagner will be remembered for if he doesn’t clear the air,” an insider told RadarOnline.
Initially, investigators ruled the Oscar nominee’s death an accidental drowning. Decades later, it was ruled a death by drowning and other undetermined factors. Robert, it seems he knows these supposed factors. This could lead to a new conclusion about the cause of his death.
As the last person to see her alive, Robert has long been a person of interest. Dennis, the captain of the yacht, claims that Bond girl Jill St. John often visited Robert’s mansion, where Dennis also lived. A rumored affair between these two has long been the subject of speculation. The 95-year-old’s lawyer denied the allegations.
A year before her mysterious death, Natalie won a Golden Globe for her performance in the miniseries From Here to Eternity. The production starred Kim Basinger, whose net worth was revealed in May to be an estimated $20 million this year.
The West Side Story actresses’ final film, Brainstorm, was released in 1983 and starred Christopher Walken and Louise Fletcher.
