Ridley Scott’s $75 Million Replacement Finds a Second Life on Streaming

Gucci House is streaming exclusively on Amazon MGM+ in Americabut globally, the film returned to the VOD top 10 in several countries, including Venezuela and Italy.

The parallels between Succession And Gucci House are difficult to deny. Both projects are loosely inspired by real people and follow successful families who are united more by money than love. The Gucci family has made a name for themselves in the fashion world, while the Roys, who are loosely based on the Murdoch family, are more of a media mogul. Gucci House was met in such a way as to divide upon release, earning it scores of 61% from critics and 83% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes. The film also narrowly exceeded its break-even point. grossing $153 million at the worldwide box office; its creation cost 75 million dollars.
