What made Aleister Black decides to leave AEW to return to WWE earlier this year?
The WWE Aleister Black superstar recently spoke with Denise Salcedo. When he was asked when he decided that he was leaving AEW to return to WWE, Black said that after talking to Tony Khan and his agent, speaking with WWE, the latter was more attractive to him in terms of what he wanted to do in the future.

“I always keep all the channels open at any time. I think it is important for a professional to always be aware of their options,” said Aleister Black. “Towards the end of my contract with AEW, I sat with Tony Khan. I said, like, hey, that, and the third. What do you think? And he gave me his vision.
“And then [my agent] spoke to WWE, and WWE gave my agent their vision. I assemble them with what I wanted to do. And my heart went more to WWE, in terms of things I always wanted to do. And my wife was there.
“There was nothing wrong with what Aew wanted to do. It was simply not what I was considering that I always wanted to do with my remaining years in the struggle sector. And I felt that it was aligning better with what I could do here. My last conversation with Tony was good.
“There was no hostility involved, nor unpleasant conversations or anything. I think, and I said that to someone else, I often think that the conversation surrounding these things becomes more volatile among the people themselves than the real conversation that occurred at the start. Everything was fine. It was great. “
