Rhea Ripley called for her very first match

Rhea Ripley was recently called up for her first ever WWE match. The Eradicator is currently aligned with IYO SKY on WWE RAW, and the duo defeated the Kabuki Warriors last weekend at Crown Jewel 2025.
Talk with The Wrestling History Channel in a new interview, EVOLVE star Kendal Gray was asked who she wanted to take on in the company. Gray said she wanted to face Ripley and noted it would be an exciting match.
“There are so many. But if I had to pick one, I’d probably say Rhea Ripley. I think she’s so cool, so badass. With her height and my size. I know I’m a lot smaller than her, but I think with my speed and my technicality, it could be a really cool match. I would say, of course, Rhea Ripley,” she said. [H/T: Fightful]

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on introducing Rhea Ripley to RAW.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s RAW Legion On the show, Russo noted that Ripley dresses like a Goth, but her actions don’t match her attire. He suggested that she needs to be in a better mood on WWE television in the future.
“I could ask you right now what Ripley’s gimmick is? Because Ripley’s gimmick isn’t Goth. That’s not how Goth [works]brother. The background scenes with her and IYO SKY are not gothic, bro. It’s not Goth. I mean, she can dress gothic all she wants. If she doesn’t act like a goth, then she’s not a goth. She just wears gothic makeup. So if you want to be Goth, be Goth. And you won’t have those scenes with IYO SKY in the back, man. You’re going to be dark. You’re going to be in a bad mood. You won’t say much. You’re going to be in your own little world. No one will be able to understand you. That’s not his character,” Russo said.
It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for Ripley in the coming weeks on RAW.
