RFK Jr. provides receipts, deposits facts on a DEM with purple hair during the hearing

The Secretary of Health and Social Services (HHS), Robert F. Kennedy Jr., brought receipts to correct the Democratic representative of Connecticut Rosa Delauro on the epidemics of measles around the world.
While wondering if his agency reduces the financing of research on “rescue” conducted by the National Institute of Health (NIH), Delauro suggested that the United States had higher cases of measles than other countries. Kennedy told the Democrat deputy that she was “wrong”, highlighting the comparable number of epidemics in Canada, Mexico and in certain parts of Western Europe.
“The Europe to which you refer is the European WHO region, which has 53 countries in Europe and Asia, including those with low vaccination rates like Romania which has never eliminated measles. If you compare us to Western European countries that we often compare to Great Britain, they have not seen any deaths of measles this year,” said Delauro.
“Let me first solve your problem because I want to correct you,” said Kennedy. “We have about 1,100 cases of measles in this country. The growth rate of last year was an additional 15, so we reached a tray. Mexico has about the same number, but a third of our population and they obtained 300 additional cases last week. Canada has more measles, 1,500, they have an eighth of our population. (Related: Baron of left ice cream removed by the police to interrupt the hearing RFK JR.)
