RFK Jr. admits removing fluoride from drinking water “will probably lead to more cavities in children

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. admitted that one of the points of his agenda, removing fluoride from water supplies across the country, would “probably” lead to more Americans to obtain cavities, therefore the worsening of dental health in the United States.

Kennedy appeared on Fox News with Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt Thursday in a conversation with Harris Faulkner host. Both organized an event at Oklahoma State Capitol in Oklahoma City on the same day to start the “Make Oklahoma Healthy Again” campaign focused on promoting “common sense health policies, medical freedom and return to personal responsibility”.

“On the question of fluoride, what was the response of dentists in America who can be concerned that some children of lower income in particular do not obtain these dental preventive situations where they can enter and have compensated teeth and treated against cavities?” Faulkner asked.

“Well, people will always be compensated for this, insofar as they are already compensated. But you know, this is a problem. It is a balance. You will probably see a little more cavities, although in Europe, where they have prohibited fluoride, they have not seen the increase in cavities.

Social media users quickly went to online platforms to ridicule the rhetoric of the Secretary of Health.

“The fluoride is safe and effective. RFK has no medical or dental background that makes him a fluorine expert,” wrote one.

“Lowering, there will be more cavities but up there will be … Uh in fact, there is no rise,” joked another.

“More cavities for children in families who cannot afford dental care. And neglected cavities can cause other health problems with infections, etc., not to mention the need for more serious and more expensive dental work …”, noted a third.

“So they admit that the outlet of fluorine is bad, but they will always do it. Cretins,” said a fourth.

“Some dentists are excited. They will soon have much more business,” said another.

The American Dental Association reiterated its support for fluorious water supplies after RFK JR. announced its intention to direct the centers for Disease Control and Prevention to denounce the fluoritation of water.

“As dentists, we see the direct consequences the elimination of fluoride on our patients and it is a real tragedy when the decisions of political decision -makers harm vulnerable children and long -term adults. The call blindly to the prohibition of fluorinated water hurts people, costs money and will end up harming our economy,” said the president of ADA, Brett Kessler, DDDS Ddds, and will end up harming
