Arsenal feels that they have obtained a good price for Noni Madueke, with Mikel Arteta pushing for this signature because he believes that he can be a key element of his first team.
It is according to Charles Watts in the last edition of his exclusive Taken into account Column, the journalist explaining that Madueke is not only brought as a backup.
Some arsenal fans were not too satisfied with the agreement for the Chelsea winger, but Watts thinks that he can be someone who ends up proving fans, as others like Kai Havertz have done in the past.
Madueke had his moments as a Chelsea player, but probably did not do enough in his two and a half years there to cement his regular starter status.
So, for Arsenal to decide when he could enter and have a big impact may have a surprise.
Mikel Arteta is a big fan of noni madueke
However, it seems that Artata wanted to bring Madueke into entering because it evaluates the international in England very well, while the club believes that it ended up being good deals for them.
“I know that Arsenal is very satisfied with the price they paid,” said Watts.
“They believe that it corresponds to what other players in Madueke have evolved this summer and are categorical that in a few years, people will consider it excellent work.
“Mikel Arteta has really rejected this agreement, he thinks that Madueke can prosper in an environment like that of Arsenal and does not consider it a safeguard. He makes it play a lot of games, whether right or left. ”
Arsenal Signs yet another Chelsea player
Watts admits, however, that it is a bit tedious to see so many players reach Arsenal de Chelsea.
Jorginho and Havertz are recent examples, while others like Willian and David Luiz have also moved in recent years, as well as Raheem Sterling on loan last season.
Even this summer, the goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga exchanged Stamford Bridge for the Emirates stadium.
“I am not the biggest fan of the No Madueke move, mainly because it has become a little tedious to see Arsenal constantly sign Chelsea players,” said Watts.
“I know that it should not matter, but that does it to many people. The costs also feel a little high for a player who is far from being a guaranteed starter, since he has bukayo Saka before him in hierarchical order.”
