Chelsea’s hopes to reach the Knockouts of the Club World Cup were destroyed by a creeping team from Flamengo, who came from behind to ensure a 3-1 victory in Philadelphia.
Although he took the lead by Pedro Neto in the first half, the Enzo Maresca team underwent an implosion in the second half, conceding three times and ending the match with ten men.
It was a chaotic and often poorly disciplined performance of Chelsea, which started fairly brilliantly.
Pedro Neto capitalized on a lucky ricochet just after the 15 -minute brand, clearly sprinting and gliding calmly in front of Rossi to score his second goal from the tournament.

In the second half, Flamengo had threatened through the Living Gerson and Araujo, and they finally made their pressure in the 69th minute.
A fluid movement has seen plata acquiesce a deep cross through the goal, allowing the substitute Bruno Henrique to split the equalizer to the distant post.
Chelsea barely had time to react before being late. Four minutes later, a flamengo corner caused chaos in the box. Henrique was again involved, withdrawing the ball through the six yards zone so that Danilo stabs at home on the section, causing wild celebrations among Brazilian fans.
Things went from bad to worse almost immediately. Nicolas Jackson, brought a few moments earlier, was returned for an unbucvainable challenge of nails, aggravating an already disastrous six -minute spell that saw Chelsea pass from speech and a man below.
Flamengo continued to exploit Chelsea’s disarray, and with eight minutes to play, they sealed the victory. Wallace Yan, twenty years old, fresh out of the bench, linked to Plata inside the box and – although fortunately – ended up with the ball at his feet after the shot of his teammate diverted him.
Chelsea pressed a response in time, with Madueke Lively out of the bench and some dangerous sets disturbing the defense of Flamengo, but there was no way to come back.
