My nice neighborhood – PlayStation Review

Reading time:4 minutes, 6 seconds
I picked up My nice neighborhood Because of his artistic style? No. Was because of the references and the similar play style of resident Evil? Also not. Well, it had to be because of Kyle’s incredible criticism on the PC version that you can read here! Yeah … no. In all the honesty (embarrassing), I wanted to play this John Szymanski and Evan Szymanski Horror of survival because it reminded me of this episode of Angel where he was transformed into a puppet.
I do not know which children would be entertained by sensitive puppets but to everyone …
After initially released PC in July 2023, the puppets went to the PlayStation Store this month. You can invite them to your library for £ 25.49! Let’s take a look at what you will live, are we going?

Gameplay
Imagine Resident Evil Biohazard But with sensitive puppets. This is the atmosphere with which you have with My nice neighborhood. This game combines first -person shooting mechanisms with horror and puzzles to create a fun experience all around. There are few different difficulties of difficulty to choose, but I chose to play on normal. “Normal” is a really well -balanced mode where there are just enough ammunition so that you felt prepared with a curve of sufficient difficulty to prevent things from being boring difficult.
The inventory system is similar to classic horror games, your bag having only spaces that can be filled before you cannot choose something else. That being said, it seems quite forgiving with the amount of space you have since the start of the game and there is additional storage in the tool tables that you find near any backup station.

Backup stations are your best friend, but come with a cost. You can collect tokens around the card you can use in backup and healing stations similar to the one above. It somehow reminded me of the terrible method of saving Tomb Raider 3 where you had to collect these blue diamonds but less boring. The game gives you enough grace (and tokens) to make it a successful but not broken mechanic.
Graphics and audio
My nice neighborhood is as brilliant as concern. The character and design really mix the happy energy you expect from the puppet spectacle of a child with the tension of a horror game. I was constantly on board while waiting for something to jump on me. The constant hike of the characters has certainly helped. Sometimes you can hear them even if you can’t see them. As they are so well spoken, it makes him a little more scary

I have to admit. The constant hike can become a little overwhelming if there are three or more puppets who hang out. “Oh my God, you’re just going to be silent!” was a repeated sentence in my game. I understand the point and he had the right effect, but it is a lot.
Graphics
There have been some graphic errors such as the dead characters that cover the surrounding signs or architecture. This does not ruin anything in the game and, in some cases, it actually brought a little humor necessary at the time! I saw worse running in triple A games.

Longevity
If you play just for the story, you could probably go through this game in 5-6 hours. If you are looking to opt for a perfect race, it will take you more than 11. I really enjoyed the time I spent My nice neighborhood. I will certainly continue to play and get the platinum. For occasional players who do not care about trophy numbers, a race is sufficient. This game is really good to show its best qualities for the player, you will certainly have a completely completed feeling from a single round.
Final reflections
My nice neighborhood Combines a number of well -known classic horror game elements and puts a funny turn. I think it’s a perfect horror game and easy to enter without gore and themes. It is really worth trying and you get a decent amount of game for £ 25. As a comparison, Resident evil village was £ 60 at the exit and the story lasted about 8 hours. So that has a lot of game for a fair price!
I give My nice neighborhood THE Golden price for thumb culture! ![]()
