Reports: Giants Wr Malik Nabers thought he had torn the right acl

The receiver of the New York Giants, Malik Nabers, was transported on the field in the second quarter of the GIANTS 21-18 victory against Los Angeles chargeers visiting with what would be a torn ACL, according to several reports.
Nabers was injured while he jumped for a pass at the bottom of the quarter-Arrière Recruue Jaxson Dart field with 6:12 to play in the first half. While the pass became incomplete, Nabres immediately caught his right knee while he went to the ground.
“Wounds occur. Certainly not satisfied with this, whether Malik or someone else,” said Giants head coach Brian Daboll after the match. “Unfortunately, this is an injury company. I feel terrible for Malik’s injury, we will see where he is. This is an important element of our team, but the guys playing behind him. … Everyone is paid to do a job. He is the next man”
ESPN reported that Nabers will have an MRI on MRI on MRI to determine the severity of his injury.
Nabres had been limited in practice earlier in the week due to shoulder injury.
Nabers, 22, entered the week 4 leading to New York during the receptions (16), receiving yards (251) and receiving affected (two). Before leaving on Sunday, he had two receptions on three targets for 20 yards.
Last season, the Nabers set a recruit record of the NFL for receivers with 109 catches, which was also a franchise brand for the Giants.
The Nabers totaled 1,204 yards and seven affected in 15 games (13 departures) last season in the name of the pro Bowl.
The Giants selected Nabers with the sixth choice in total of the NFL 2024 of LSU.
