Reports: Chargers acquire Odafe Oweh from Ravens

The Los Angeles Chargers acquired edge rusher Odafe Oweh from the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday, according to multiple reports.
Oweh and a 2027 seventh-round pick were reportedly sent to the Chargers for safety Alohi Gilman and a 2026 fifth-round pick.
Oweh recorded a career-high 10 sacks last season, but hasn’t reached the quarterback position in five games this year. He has 23 sacks in 67 games (25 starts) for the Ravens since joining the club as a first-round pick (31st overall) in 2021.
Oweh, 26, goes from being a player for one Harbaugh coaching brother (John) to being a competition for another (Jim).
Gilman, 28, started all five games for the Chargers this season and had 22 tackles and three passes defended. He has 252 tackles, five interceptions, four forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries in 73 games (39 starts) over six seasons in the NFL.
Gilman was a sixth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
