Report: Steelers QB Skylar Thompson stolen from Dublin

The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterrier, Skylar Thompson, was “jumped and stolen” Friday evening in Dublin, NFL Network reported on Sunday.
The report came shortly before the Steelers were to face the Vikings of Minnesota in the first match of the NFL in the capital of Ireland.
Thompson has undergone minor injuries but is OK and with the team, NFL Network reported.
“We are aware of a situation involving Skylar Thompson Friday evening in Dublin,” said a Steelers spokesperson, according to NFL Network. “We will no longer have comments at the moment because we are working with the safety of the NFL to collect more information concerning the incident.”
Thompson, 28, is in reserve injured with an injury to the hamstrings. He has not yet played in a match in his first season with the Steelers.
He completed 58.7% of his passes for 721 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions in 10 games (three departures) with the dolphins of Miami.
