Report: Jaguars ‘listening’ to trade calls for WR Brian Thomas Jr.

As the NFL trade deadline approaches, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. is a name that would come up in conversations.
According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the Jaguars are “listening” to trade calls for Thomas Jr., even though a move seems “highly unlikely.”

After a huge rookie season in 2024, Thomas Jr. failed to find consistent footing in 2025.
He and quarterback Trevor Lawrence failed to develop a strong connection, while Thomas Jr. also dealt with dropped passes.
Thomas had plenty of opportunities with 54 targets coming, but he only caught 27 of those throws and is averaging 13.5 yards per catch with one touchdown.
His six dropped passes are the second-most in football, according to PFF.
The Jaguars want to involve Travis Hunter more on offense, and Parker Washington’s opportunities have continued to expand. The team also has Dyami Brown under contract through the 2025 season.

This would be a pretty shocking move by the Jaguars, but perhaps general manager James Gladstone is simply doing his due diligence and hearing what offers for Thomas Jr. might look like.
