Report: Heat G Davion Mitchell to return to 2 years, 24 million dollars pact

The limited free agent Davion Mitchell plans to sign a 24 million dollars contract over two years to stay with Miami Heat, ESPN reported on Saturday.

The Heat previously extended a qualification offer of $ 8.7 million in Mitchell for the coming season.

Mitchell, who will be 27 years old on September 5, collected an average of 10.3 points and 5.3 assists and pulled a robust 50.4% of the word in 30 games (15 departures) with the heat after being acquired as part of the multi-team trade which sent Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors.

Mitchell contributed 7.6 points and 3.3 assists in 301 career games (69 departures) with the Kings of Sacramento, the Raptors of Toronto and the heat. The goalkeeper was selected by the Kings with the ninth overall choice of the NBA 2021 draft.
