Miami Dolphins tight end Darren Waller is out for the week after an MRI showed a strained pectoral muscle and not a complete tear, NFL Network reported Monday.

Waller, 33, was injured in Sunday’s 31-6 loss at Cleveland and didn’t catch a pass, ending his streak of three straight games with at least one touchdown.

After coming out of retirement, Waller caught 10 passes for 117 yards and four touchdowns in his first three games for Miami from Weeks 4-6.

Selected to the Pro Bowl with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020, Waller has 360 catches for 4,241 yards and 24 scores in 90 games (64 starts) with the Baltimore Ravens (2015-16), Raiders (2018-22), New York Giants (2023) and Dolphins. He did not play in the 2024 season.
