Crystal Palace wishes to sign the Brazilian striker Wallace Yan, and they are now emerged as the main ones in the pursuit of the star of Flamengo.

Reports in Brazil suggest that discussions on a potential transfer are at an advanced stage. Journalist Julio Miguel Neto revealed via Bolavip that Palace opened negotiations during the summer window and that they seek to rekindle talks once the window will reopen in January.

Flamengo is fully aware of the situation, because the player’s representative, Cláudio Guadagno, was in contact with the Premier League team. Director José Boto would have been kept informed of developments.

Palace is currently carrying out the pursuit to land the talented young person. Despite the Wolverhampton Wanderers by continuing to keep an eye on the availability of Yan, the Eagles are well placed to bring it to England.

Yan impressed on the big stage of the club World Cup, where he scored twice, including a memorable goal against Chelsea. However, the 20 -year -old has had trouble for regular minutes at the maracanã, fueling speculation that his long -term future is in Brazil. Despite his limited role, the attacker’s pace, the flair and the finishing capacity kept him on the radar of European clubs.

The coming months should be decisive. Flamengo must decide to withdraw money during the January market or to hold until the summer. Crystal Palace remains eager to add to the attack unit, and it would be a solid investment in the long term for them. The player will also be attracted to the move. It could be the next step ideal for him.

Regular football in England could accelerate its development and help it achieve its potential. It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can conclude an agreement in the coming months.
