Kristiansen must look for opportunities when the transfer window opens in January. He needs to play more often at this stage of his career. Staying on the Leicester City bench will not benefit him. This also affects his chances in the national team.

Nottingham Forest expressed interest in signing the player during the summer transfer window, but no deal ever materialized before the transfer deadline.
