Farhan Ahmed, 17, entered history in a blast vitality match between Nottinghamshire and Lancashire. The youngest brother of England Spinner Rehan Ahmed became the first player in Nottinghamshire to claim a hat -trick in the T20 and also won five counters, guiding his team to a four gates victory.
Farhan Ahmed, who appeared in the U19 2024 World Cup, became the youngest first class player in Nottinghamshire last year. At his beginnings, he impressed with a transport with seven gates, ending with figures of 7 for 140. He became the youngest player in the British first class cricket history to claim ten counters in a match.
Lancashire collapsed after stealing the start of the openers
By opting to beat first, the openers of the Lancashire Phil Salt and Captain Keaton Jennings added an opening partnership of 38 points. However, they lost momentum when Farhan Ahmed rejected Jennings, triggering a collapse of a higher order.

The Lancashire had dropped to 53 for 5 by the eighth. The spinners of Nottinghamshire, including Farhan and Liam Patterson-White, maintained the pressure on the drummers, and the average order did not offer a lot of resistance.
Matty Hurst and Chris Green sewed a 63 -point stand together for the sixth window. Hurst scored 36 years, while Green added 29. However, Hurst was exhausted by Olly Stone in the 17th, leaving the Lancashire to 123 for the final.

Farhan Ahmed delivered a sensational final to crown a brilliant spell with his first five -counters in the T20 cricket. Having already rejected Chris Green earlier in the sleeves, the young Spinner returned to dismantle the tail of the Lancashire.
On the fourth ball in the final, Farhan removed Luke Wood. He then struck the following two deliveries, taking Tom Aspinwall and Mitchell Stanley’s counters to complete a superb hatch. He helped play the Lancashire for only 126.

Disastrous start for Nottinghamshire in Run Chase
The Nottinghamshire race race took a disastrous start when they fell 14 for 4 in the first three Overs. Joe Clarke died in the opening to Luke Wood, and Tom Hartley caused other damage by removing Sam Seecharan and Matthew Montgomery in fast succession.
Jack Haynes also fell on Wood, leaving the shot side with deep troubles. Tom Moores turned the match in favor of his team with an explosive blow. Moores and Daniel Sams added 31 points, bringing the side of the victory closer. Moores was finally exhausted for 75 out of 42 bullets, including seven limits and four. Sams finished the work in the 16th, sealing a four -track victory with 28 balls to lose.
However, the victory was not sufficient to take Nottinghamshire in the quarter -finals due to their poor net race. They missed the scene with direct elimination for the third time in four seasons. The Lancashire, on the other hand, had already qualified for the direct elimination scene.
