After almost a decade, Monterey mothers are ready to come together for season 3 of Big little lies.
Reese Witherspoon, who produces and plays the role of Madeline Mackenzie in the HBO drama, recently updated the long -awaited return of the program after Deadline exclusively reported that season 3 was in preparation.
“We could work on season 3,” she said on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. “Yeah, I mean, they write it. It’s also exciting, just to bring the gang together and everyone is starting to talk about it. It’s really fun.”

Witherspoon admitted that it was “a minute” since she gathered all her co-stars after the end of season 2 in 2019, after the first 2017 of the program based on the novel by Liane Moriarty in 2014.

As Deadline reported on Thursday, Francesca Sloane (Mr. and Mrs Smith) was used to write the first episode of season 3 as part of an exclusive two -year comprehensive agreement that she included with HBO. Sloane will produce its producers alongside the creator of the David series. E. Kelley and Stars Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman.
