Reese Witherspoon Book Club Podcast launches from Hello Sunshine

Reese Witherspoon’s monthly reading club – which has just been eight years old – now gets a companion podcast. But while Witherspoon probably will appear on the show, she delegates accommodation tasks.
The weekly series “Bookmarked by Reese’s Book Club” will be anchored by the journalist and television host Danielle Robay, who “will bring together celebrities, tastes of tastes, influencers and authors of the Reese reading club and beyond to share stories that transcend the page”, according to Hello Sunshine, the media and production company Witherspoon. The podcast is co -produced and distributed by the Iheartpodcasts division of Iheartmedia.
The first episode will be available on June 24, with Robay in conversation with the successful authors Emily Henry and Yulin Kuang. New episodes will publish Tuesdays on all the main audio platforms. Robay also hosts the podcast “Question Everything” and “while you were streaming”.
“Bookmarked by Reese’s Book Club” will take “the lover of modern books behind the scenes of their favorite stories, characters and authors,” says Hello Sunshine. Each episode will provide “a new book recommendation to dive and share with the others” as well as a question segment-answer subject to auditor.
Witherspoon is an executive producer of “Bookmarked by Reese’s Book Club” alongside Robay, Maureen Polo for Hello Sunshine and Ali Perry and Conal Byrne for Iheartpodcasts. Hello Sunshine and iheartpodcasts previously associated to release “The Bright Side”, a “dose of culture and inspiration” weekly organized by Simone Boyce, which recently returned for season 2 last month.
Since Witherspoon launched the Reese reading club in 2017, she selected more than 100 titles. The reading club is part of Hello Sunshine, which produces a scripted and uncripted television, feature films, animated series, podcasts, audio narration and digital series. Hello Sunshine belongs to Candle Media, the media roll-up company led by Kevin Mayer and Tom Staggs and supported by the Investment Capital Activities of Blackstone.
