Mayank agarwal to replace Devdutt Padikkal in RCB, DC Sign Sediqulah Atal for Harry Brook

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru chose Mayank Agarwal to replace Devdutt Padikkal injured, while the Capitals of Delhi signed Sediqulah Atal in Afghanistan in place of English Harry Brook for the rest of the Indian Premier League. Padikkal, who has played 10 games for RCB this season and has scored 247 points with the help of two half-century, suffered an injury to his right hamstrings. Agarwal has played 127 IPL games so far, marking 2661 points. He has an iPl a hundred and 13 fifties against his name. He joined RCB for Rs 1 crosses.

DC, on the other hand, signed the 23 -year -old Afghan striker Atal, who made the headlines with his 85 -point heroic against Australia in the ICC champions trophy earlier this year.

Atal played 49 T20 in various competitions, marking 1,507 points at an average of 34.25, including 13 half-century.

He first took importance during the Kabul Premier League 2023, where he broke 48 points in one. In these sleeves, he remained unbeaten on 118 out of 56 bullets, which included seven four and ten six. He also marked a century in the tournament final, which was not 103 out of 42 deliveries.

Atal played a central role in victory as Afghanistan at the T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 of the ACC, at the top of the Run-Scorers table with 368 points in five games.

He replaces Brook, who was prohibited by the BCCI for having removed the IPL despite its auction buyer.
