MSU students, Pride Band are preparing for the first opening match of the FBS house

Springfield, Mo. (Ky3) – The Bears of the Missouri State launched their first home game for their first football season in the USA conference on Saturday. And students are ready for this.

The 2:30 p.m. kick -off against the South Methodist University is not only the first home game with the FBS Bears; It is the first home game with some notable changes and new brilliant details added to the Plouter stadium, such as fresh lawn, stadium fires capable of producing light emissions and more options at the concession stand.

The school expects an almost closed -looking crowd. A larger crowd size is also delivered with changes to the students’ tailge, by moving it to a larger parking lot.

Students are delighted with the huge crowd for the recognition it will bring to their school.

“I love to see the environment,” said Monique Fiagan, the junior. “I love to see all the elders and people who want to support the state of Missouri in their future efforts and how we can grow as a school.”

They are also excited for the recognition that this will bring to the football team and those who encourage them on the strongest.

“It was super exciting for all of us once we discovered that the football team was going to move conferences,” said Elisa Valbuena, member of the Pride group. “Because it has also opened up opportunities. I just know that energy will be something that we are certainly going to feed, and that it will just make the team and we just have a great experience.”

To ensure that the largest crowd is as safe as possible, a transparent bag policy will be in force, which requires that all bags are in transparent plastic and not more than 12 in 12 inches. In addition, small clutch bags will be allowed, but must not be greater than 5.5 by 7.5 inches.

With the summer heat that is booming, the state of the Missouri allows fans to bring a bottle of transparent and not open plastic water. There will also be water fountains and water stations throughout the area.

“I essentially have the impression of being really at university,” said Ella Hayes the second year. “As it made me feel like Monsters University.”

“Yeah, like the college you see in the movies,” said Fiagan. “It’s like I live this life now to see the group of pride, the colored guard, and everyone goes out, it’s incredible.”
