Boston – The Boston Red Sox thought they would be better with a happy clubhouse than a dissatisfied Rafael.

“We worked there. We had a different vision for him in the future, and we could not get there. We could not find the alignment,” said Kennedy. “And we have reached this inflection point and made the decision to take a big step.”
