Recruit the Mercers; The OSU game plan; Finebaum’s weaknesses

Steve Helwagen de Bucknuts.com organized his weekly cat on Monday evening on the first row babbleman. See the transcription below.
Programming note: Steve will once again join the Ohio State Buckeyes live at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Consult the first row for access details after 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Butlerbuck: Players may want everything they can get as a HS kid.
For Hoops, Anthony Davis and Cooper Flagg would have been the choice of recovery n ° 1, whether they went to a blue blood or not.
For football, obtaining this development in college is more important because the NFL looks at you for 3 years.
Will children have this idea / OSU use it as a basketball recruitment field at the OSU or another blue blood in pork?
OSU hoops would use it to recruit these 5 * players…. You will be # 1 wherever you go. You just need to get as much playing time as possible. You will get every minute that you can play here. In the United Kingdom and Duke, maybe not
Helwagen: Yeah, many sites in there. The education of each child, who and recruitment are different. Some must have as much as they can get their hands as soon as possible. Some are interested in being one and in the league. Some are content to play long game to extend their development and maximize their professional value.
So, yes, you can watch it and say that Ohio State can help you get there. But if you watched the NBA finals, here are the schools of beginners:
Pacers: Pascal Siakam (New Mexico State), Aaron Nesmith (Vanderbilt), Myles Turner (Texas), Andrew Nembhard (Gonzaga), Tyrese Haliburton (Iowa State)
Thunder: Chet Holmgren (Gonzaga), Jalen Williams (Santa Clara), Isaiah Hartenstein (Germany / Lithuania), Lu Dort (state of Arizona), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Kentucky)
A single real blue blood there. You can get there anywhere, so why not Ohio State? Of course, will need Ohio State to be competitive in the remuneration department.
Foxr2001: I don’t know if you can answer this and have nothing to do with the OSU. BTN broadcast a few American women’s volleyball games, which has nothing to do with the B1G. I can only imagine that it is a reciprocal agreement with Fox that they (BTN) seem when Fox does not have room for their schedule or something like that. Information on the reasons why they are disseminated on BTN?
Two other completely different questions for you. The Dispatch of Columbus said that McGuff was able to drive again, which probably means that its license was temporarily suspended. The article has not come into the details of its current status. Has her arrest dui already been treated and if so, what penalty (IES) received? Has the university did something to him or will she like to suspend him for a few games? Hey, maybe Osu will suspect it in the middle of the non-conference program when we play our two easiest games!
Another question, no one here in Bucknuts only mentioned Cleveland had a WnBa franchise. I imagine that you are a fan of the Cavs, how do you feel with the city sharing the court with a female team? Do you think, with the improvement of success in the WNBA that this franchise will survive, unlike the anterior WNBA franchise in Cleveland?
Thank you Steve.
Helwagen: I didn’t know that BTN was broadcasting women’s volleyball events in the United States, but it’s logical that Fox needs a outlet they do. ESPN puts NCAA events that he cannot obtain on ESPN or ESPN2 on SEC Network (generally involving a dry team). Big Ten is big in volleyball and maybe they have rationalized some of the players from the Big Ten schools.
I have heard nothing about McGuff or its status. I assume that the judge in his case granted him driving privileges. I suppose that if the Ohio State will suspend it, it will happen before the start of the season. No idea of the next appearance of the court. I will try to check this. I do not know how he beat the rap if they play the video at the trial, unless he can prove that he has been druged in one way or another.
I didn’t really think of the WNBA in Cleveland. It seems that the league has 10 to 12 needle movers who attract crowds. People will come there to watch Caitlin Clark and some of the others. But to win and say that you need stars. These are difficult to find. Good luck and, I agree, I hope it is better than the last time. Sophie Cunningham’s comments on the reasons why someone would like to play in Cleveland were not at all useful. LOL
