EXCLUSIVE: Fesisty, they are. Inbetweeners The actors Joe Thomas and James Buckley are launching a comedy podcast later this month.
Joe and James Facts Up Go see the couple talk about their long friendship that started when they filmed the emblematic Comedy Channel 4 a decade ago. Launching on September 23, the Pod will intend to share parts of their lives, small reproaches and a shared love for random facts.
In each weekly episode, they will bring a fact that has captured their interest in unpacking and debating, for example if all the chips expire a Saturday or if the elevator button is just for the show. Expect tangents in abundance when they arrive at the bottom of unnecessary but strangely satisfactory mysteries.
Their reunion occurs after having paired last year for a Comic relief Oasis sketch which sparked a major reaction from fans. Thomas has since appeared on Buckley At home with curls podcast.
Pod production is still audio, the company behind podcasts such as Help I have sexy my boss,, Elis James and John Robins And Sue Perkins presents that Carrie Jade does not exist.
“I have always liked the facts you can withdraw wherever people talk, so demystify will be quite fun, especially when I can do it with one of my good friends,” said Thomas. “Things become quite bizarre of my end, so who knows where this Podcast journey will lead.”
Buckley added: “I always liked working with Joe, so I’m delighted to spend time with him speaking nonsense … This is essentially what we are already doing, but with a micro attached. Let’s see how good it turns out.”
