Afghanistan Opt to beat VS Bangladesh
Captain Afghan Rashid Khan decided to beat first after winning the Bangladesh draw during the first T20i in Sharjah on Thursday.
They chose Sharafuddin Ashraf, Fareed Ahmed and Mohammad Ishaq in the XI, replacing Karim Janat and Fazalhaq Farooqi, who were deposited from the T20i team after the Asian Cup. Mujeeb ur Rahman was not in the XI either.
Bangladesh reinforced its bowling unit, bringing the spinner of the left arm Nasum Ahmed. They left Towhid Hridoy aside, while Soumya Sarkar has not arrived at the water because he has not yet received his visa.
