More than 50 million alert for dangerous heat in the Southwest

Record heat continues for certain parts of the desert to the southwest in the weekend, with stifling temperatures starting to develop east in the heart.

Extreme heat warnings remain in force for certain parts of the southwest desert – including Palm Springs, California; Phoenix; And Tucson, Arizona.

High temperatures should reach the years 100 and up to 115 in spots.

Friday, thermal opinions are also in force for other areas of the region all over the plains while the heat begins to move towards the east.

Places under these thermal opinions include Albuquerque, New Mexico; Dallas, El Paso and Amillo, Texas; Oklahoma City; Wichita, Kansas; Denver; And Sioux City, Iowa.

High temperatures between 100 and 110 are possible for these areas for Friday.

Record temperatures are possible for albuquerque until Saturday.

The heat should be less extreme for the southwest desert this weekend.

Later this weekend until next week, widespread heat will return to the northeast and a large part of the country.

Later this weekend until next week, extreme heat will be possible for some parts of North West of California, western Oregon and southwest of Washington. Places in Yreka, California, Portland, Oregon, can see high temperatures enter the 100 years and low temperatures between 60 and 70 Sunday to Monday.

Thursday, Phoenix saw a high temperature of 118 degrees. It was not only the hottest temperature recorded for the month of August, but it is also tied for the ninth longest day since records began in 1895.

The danger of fire time persists

Warnings of the red flag are found in places in five western states – Oregon, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico – for critical fire conditions that keep a strong foot this week.

The humidity has a number and the gusts of wind between 35 and 55 MPH are possible anywhere in these areas, although it depends on the exact location.

These conditions will be conducive to the rapid propagation of fire with any new or existing forest fire in these areas.

Fire weather conditions are expected to remain critical at least on Saturday, but can persist at the beginning of next week.

A red flag warning is also in force for Medford, Oregon, due to dry and winding conditions.
