On September 27, Melissa Peterman shared soft photos on Instagram of a Reba Distribution meeting. Peterman, 54, posted for photos with his scholarship holder Reba Stars Reba Mcéntire, Joanna Garcia Swisher and Christopher Rich in a parking lot after dinner. They were also joined by the fiancé of Mcintire, Rex Linn, and the wife of Rich Eva Halina Rich.
Peterman wrote in legend: “Dinner with friends is always good. Dinner with these friends is everything. #FamilyForever ❤️. ” Garcia Swisher commented the photo gallery: “Goodness, I love you all so much ❤️.”
Reba RAN for six seasons from 2001 to 2007. McENTIRE played Reba Hart, a divorced mother who tries to keep her family together after her husband divorces her for her dental hygienist. Rich, 72, played his ex Brock, while Peterman played Barbra Jean, his new wife who ultimately becomes Reba’s friend. Garcia Swisher played Cheyenne, Reba and the older child of Brock who falls pregnant during his last year of high school.
THE Reba The cast also included Steve Howey as Van Montgomery, Cheyenne’s boyfriend, and Scarlett Pomers and Mitch Holleman as Reba and the two other children of Brock, Kyra and Jake, respectively.

THE Reba The reunion comes for weeks after the death of Mcéntire’s steps, Brandon Blackstock died of cancer at the age of 48. McENTIRE was married to Brandon’s father, Narvel Blackstock, until 26 years old, until 2015. In a tribute from August 12 to Brandon on Instagram, McENTIRE wrote in part: “There is no one else like him, and I am grateful for the time we had together. His inheritance and his laugh will not be transported by his family.”
Mcentire and Peterman gathered more permanent in 2024 when their new sitcom HAPPY PLACE Created on NBC. Mcentire plays Bobbie, who inherits a bar by his father, and Peterman plays a bartender there. Linn, 68, also plays in the series with them as a cook at the bar. Rich and Howey, 48, also appeared as guest stars in the series.
“The first time we entered a table reading was very nostalgic,” said Mcentire in May to what works with so many former collaborators of Reba. “It was very moving. I mean, see, I’m suffocated at the moment. This is how we are all also blessed. If you get a very good sitcom that lasts six seasons, you think:” Dude, I have the golden ring.
