History lesson
Entering the match on Monday in Omaha, Arkansas on Monday, is 8-0 against Murray State. Under Dave Van Horn, the razorbacks are 6-0 in total against the runners.
The Razorbacks swept the Racers in Home series in 2021 and 2024.
Four victories in four days
Since the NCAA adopted the current World Series format in 2003, only Oregon State (2006 and 2018) and South Carolina (2010) qualified for the championship series after falling into the losers’ tranche before their second match.
Only the 2006 team of Oregon State did what the Arkansas tries to do by winning four games in four days. The South 2010 Carolina team won four games in five days, while the 2018 Oregon State team won four games in six days while sailing in the Losers support.
