Rays All-Star 1b Jonathan Arannda continues with the fractured left wrist

Tampa, Florida – The Rays of Tampa Bay placed the first goal player Jonathan Arannda on the list of wounded 10 days on Friday with a fractured left wrist.

Arannda was injured Thursday in a collision with New York Yankees, the name designated Giancarlo Stanton.

Aranda said that the injury did not feel “catastrophic” and that he hopes that he will return this season, although the Rays have warned that he will not be able to use the wrist for about three weeks.

The Arannda wrist has been immobilized in an air cast and it must undergo more imaging at three weeks. At this point, the Rays will reassess its return calendar.

“Let’s see how the bone heals,” said manager Kevin Cash before the opening of the Friday evening series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. “I think he has restored in about three weeks, but we will continue to remain optimistic.”

Stanton struck a soft group in fifth round to the third basic Junior Caminero player, who loaded wet grass to align the ball. Arannda reached the wide Camino draw which sailed in the runner, and his left wrist seemed to strike Stanton’s left shoulder.

Aranda, a first star, beats .316 with 12 circuits, 54 points produced in 103 games this season. He has a basic percentage of .394 and an OPS of .872, which makes him one of the most dangerous strikers of the majors.

Cash changed Yandy Díaz at the first basis of the absence of Aranda.

The Rays restored Ha-Seong Kim of the IL and recalled Tristan Gray from Triple-A Durham.

The acquisitions of the Deadline of Commerce Griffin Jax and Hunter Feduccia were active for the match on Friday evening.
