When the Broadway star, Aaron Lazar, was thrown for a place invited to the Amazon MGM series “Countdown”, he did not expect to bind with the star Eric Dane in the way.

Lazar received a diagnosis of SLA in 2022. When Lazar filmed “Countdown”, it took months before Dane was made public with his diagnosis.
“I was in a wheelchair and I was so nervous that they were not going to be able to dress in my costumes,” said Lazar, referring to her “backdrop” wardrobe to play a governor. “But it turns out that they knew exactly what to do because they had already worked with Eric and what he had experienced.”

Since Lazar revealed that he had lived with the disease, he has been responsible for educating and inspiring – not only on ALS, but any kind of challenge that someone can be confronted. He did a one -year speech tour and obtained a Grammy nomination in 2024 for his first album “Impossible Dream”, which presents an interpretation “We Are the World” by “The Impossible Dream” by “Man of Mancha” with Sting, Lin Manuel Miranda, Josh Groban, Liz Callaway, Neil Patrick Harris, Leslie Odome Jr. Lewis and even more.
He followed his musical success with “Impossible Dreams”, a new series of video podcasts presented by the Als network, which will be presented on Tuesday, October 7.
“For me, the podcast is a gathering of stories that remind us of our own power,” explains Lazar. “If people are moving away from an episode feeling more optimistic, more awake with what is possible in their own life, then I realize my mission. Our mantra is: Living your dreams impossible. I hope the podcast helps people do it.”
Lazar’s dream guest is Jim Carrey.
“Jim Carrey embodies the heart of what” impossible dreams “is- transformation,” explains Lazar. “It is an extraordinary soul that consciously co-Sa life. Although there is no remedy for SLA, Lazar remains optimistic about the future. “I have read more than 100 pounds in recent years on healing and the nervous system and put a large part of this wisdom in practice. I learned that with courage, hope becomes faith, and faith during practice becomes belief, and belief when practiced becomes knowledge, “explains Lazar, who is the father of two teenagers with his ex-wife. “What started as a seed of hope from the inside was cultivated through a disciplined practice in a lifestyle. I continue to inspire my books, but I mainly inspire others to find inspiration. I guess that being an inspiration, having an impact on someone else’s life is an honor that inspires me deeply.”
