Steve Harvey is everywhere. For Harvey, financial success is like a physical feat: doing 100 pumps could take years of training, but it is even more difficult to stay in shape to continue to do so. “To stay successful, guess what you need to do? You have to lock and hold. And after 100, this locking and the outfit are difficult because you have burned everything.”

Harvey was born in Virginia-Western, his father working as a coal minor to support his five children. After taking courses at the Kent State University and the University of Virginia -Western, Harvey abandoned the college and worked a series of small work – factor, insurance seller and self -research worker – looking for his place.
But security was ephemeral. One year, he was dismissed from General Electric just before Thanksgiving, forced to go home with a turkey of 20 pounds but no income for his family. Over the years, Harvey said he had covered 10 or 11 different jobs. His turning point arrived at 27, when he won $ 50 in a comedy club and decided that he had nothing to lose. He left his constant job by selling insurance and made a jump in comedy – a bet that would change his life forever.
Harvey’s desire to find stability is the reason why he says now that he juggles so many companies: losing a concert never leaves him with anything.
“I have been going on for poverty for so long because I had been there for so long,” he said The pivot podcast. “I guess I’m a little afraid that it will go wrong.”
Harvey’s main advice for young people looking for their own version of success are simple: these are not the resources you may have, but rather to discover your personal gift.
“You have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable if you want to succeed,” he said in 2018. “Start putting pressure on yourself.”
