Ravichandran Ashwin tipped a tip to become head coach in IPL very soon

The former drummer of the India national cricket team, Robin Uthapppa, argued the legendary Ravichandran Ashwin to take over as a chief coach of an Indian Premier League team (IPL) very soon.
Robin Uthapppa said that Ravichandran Ashwin would be a “fascinating coach” and would find many IPL franchises who would be interested in having it in their configuration.

On August 27, Ravichandran Ashwin announced his retirement from the Indian Premier League (IPL) and promised to explore “the game around various leagues”.

He said goodbye to IPL less than a year after his retirement from international cricket, which he announced during the Border-Gavaskar 2024-25 trophy in December.

He played 221 games in the Ligue Marquee T20 and won 187 counters at an average of 30.22, a saving of 7.20 and a strike rate of 25.1. He notably put an end to his career as a fifth highest flare holder in the history of the IPL.

In a video shared on his official YouTube channel, Robin Uthappa, who shone for CSK in IPL, said that the IPL inheritance by Ravichandran Ashwin would not be considered as great in international cricket, where he won 765 counters in 287 games.
By giving the reason for his daring complaint, Robin Uthapppa said that Ashwin had used defensive options much more than those offensive of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which was completely opposed to what he had done in international cricket.
“I think that his inheritance (as IPL player) will not be as great as an international cricket player because of the options he used after a certain point,” said Robin Uthapppa.
“He used many defensive options in the IPL compared to the offensive options he used in international cricket, in particular to test the cricket. I would like him to use his thoring much more. It is a mixed bag for him in IPL. Many things also happened to him by his IPL career.

Uthapppa also said that Ashwin’s trip to coach and mentoring roles would be interesting and also supported him to become a head coach of the IPL. He said:
“I think he will make a fascinating coach. But I think that his life is going to be much more enterprising than being stuck in the work of a coach. He will in a way be a mentor. It will be a big role for him. He could be head coach. There could be takers for him,” he thought.
