Rapids goes to 2-0 victory on MLS-Worst Galaxy

Djordjejeje Mihailovic and Calvin Harris scored goals in a four-minute section of the first half and the Rapids of Colorado won a 2-0 victory against the Los Angeles Galaxy on Wednesday at Commerce City, Colo.

After waiting for a two-hour meteorological delay at the start, the rapids (7-8-4, 25 points) ended a sequence of three consecutive defeats. The Colorado has scored several goals for the first time in its last 10 games.

Rapids goalkeeper Nico Hansen made five stops for a third laundering during his sixth consecutive departure in place of Zack Steffen (knee).

The galaxy (1-13-5, 8 points) saw their defensive misfortunes continue. The title champions of the MLS collapsed under the weight of key injuries and a reworked list to allow an amount of 41 goals in MLS this season.
