Does any of this make sense? If you follow the stock markets, you might think that we are at the dawn of a period of historic or at least very robust growth. And yet, at the same time, the global economy is going through a period of increasing disruption and uncertainty, creating what can be called an economic climate of great fear and high risk. It’s hard to see how these two things can both be true.
