Rams receive massive WR status news for playoff game vs. Panthers

The Los Angeles Rams received a positive update on Davante Adams. Rams coach Sean McVay announced Monday that the team expects the star receiver to return from his hamstring injury for Saturday’s playoff game against the Carolina Panthers.
Adams has been sidelined since aggravating his hamstring injury in Week 15 against the Detroit Lions. He finally returned to practice Thursday and was listed as limited throughout the week leading up to the Rams’ regular-season finale. He ultimately didn’t adapt to the match.
Thanks for the submission!
“He looks like he’s ready to go,” McVay said. “We’ve been careful with him. I know it’s kind of pissed him off because of the competitor that he is. But he has that look in his eyes that says he’s ready to go.

“And man, you feel better when you see No. 17 on our offense and it poses a lot of different challenges for people to have to defend when you put that damn stud back on the grass for us.”

Sean McVay reveals the main reason why the Rams signed Davante Adams
During his press briefing Friday, Sean McVay was asked what made Davante Adams so special that he personally pushed to bring the receiver to Los Angeles. He directly pointed to his long-standing relationship with Adams through the LaFleur brothers as the key foundation that made this successful trade possible.
“His body of work and then getting to know him,” McVay said. “You hear about him. The whole body of work, like I told you about it, I’m just a fan of this game. [I had a vision] of what he could do.
“I knew what a special human he was because [Offensive Coordinator] Mike LaFleur and I are so close and he worked with him during those special years they had together in Green Bay. It’s the person, the player, the production and the vision we had of what he could do.
Beyond his own impact on the field, Davante Adams was a game-changer in the locker room, helping elevate the Rams’ receiving corps. His mentorship fueled Puka Nacua’s All-Pro season, earning the young player his second straight Pro Bowl nomination, while also making rookie Konata Mumpfield a reliable option.
