Rams Mcvay coach reveals that he suffered a serious foot injury during the week 2 victory

The Los Angeles Rams maintained their undefeated start for the new NFL season on Sunday, but their last victory had a cost for head coach Sean Mcvay.

Los Angeles improved at 2-0 when they overcome the Tennessee titans with a victory on the 33-19 road.

But it was always a painful day for Mcvay in one way, because he revealed that he had torn his plantar fascia, a thick fabric flowing along the foot sole, during the match.

Speaking on the “Mcvay Show coach” produced by the Rams, he said: “The foot is good. I torn my plantar fascia, so yes. Well, it’s a good thing, because I guess it allows you to heal a little faster.

“But I was dramatic, lodging towards the end of the match, but the MRI confirmed that I had done it.

“The good news is that I’m not playing. I’m just on the sidelines to watch, so if I’m a little cool to add booty, then you will know why.”

Mcvay did not say how or when the injury had occurred, or if he wore a walking boot while the injury heals.

The Rams face the Eagles of Philadelphia on the road in week 3 in a revenge match of the NFC divisional Channel match which ended the 2024 Los Angeles season.
