Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers ‘of course’ still wants trade out of Vegas

Raiders receiver Jakobi Meyers would still welcome a trade out of Las Vegas, maintaining his preseason stance on his future with the franchise.
Meyers is tied for the team lead with 29 receptions for 329 yards and continues to be mentioned as a potential trade target as the Raiders (2-5) fade in an otherwise contentious AFC West race.
“I have no control over it. If I’m here, I’m there,” Meyers said Tuesday of his membership in the trade bloc.
But if Meyers had his ideas, the desire for an exchange would remain.
“Oh, sure,” Meyers said. “But I’m a professional at the end of the day. I just try to play good football.”
Meyers met with Raiders officials before the start of the regular season and requested a trade. He said they told him “no.”
He has a base salary of $10.5 million in 2025, but there is no guaranteed money left on his three-year contract that can be voided after this season. He turns 29 on November 9, five days after the trade deadline.
Meyers became the Raiders’ No. 1 receiver following the October 2024 trade of Davante Adams to the New York Jets. He caught 87 passes for 1,027 yards and four touchdowns last season.
