Los Angeles – Puka Nacua was at the wedding of his teammate in Los Angeles Rams when he received the call.
Nacua was on the dance floor to celebrate Kobia Turner, the defensive winger, when his phone turned on.
“Many telephone calls refuse you at that time,” Nacua told Yahoo Sports, but I say to myself, “Sean Mcvay coach? Hello, hello. ‘”

Mcvay asked Nacua, “What do you think of Davante?”
From the Turner’s wedding dance floor in March, Nacua celebrated the Rams which signed the Triple Receiver All-Pro Adams.
On the one hand, Adams is only the last of a deep high caliber talent basin that guided Nacua since the Rams selected it in the fifth round of the NFL 2023 draft.
“I feel like a little child in a candy store with Cooper Kupp, Matthew Stafford, Davante Adams,” said Nacua.

On the other hand: Adams brings to the Rams receiver room a perspective that Kupp did not make. The eight strong seasons of the NFL of Kupp all came with the Rams (until the Seahawks signed it this spring) and that all are the offensive of Mcvay.

Adams arrives with a CRO Pro and covering a range of play players through eight seasons of Green Bay Packers, more than two years with Las Vegas raiders and the best part of last season with the New York Jets.
The leadership of Rams liked the idea of bringing these perspectives to their building.
“Many people in our ecosystem have been here, so I still think it’s beneficial when someone is coming,” the Director General Les Snead told Yahoo Sports. “My abstract artist spirit [thinks] This is probably a version of organic diversification entering the room you get someone who has been other places, saw other things, has done in different ways – but they are always at the top of the game.
“It’s an advantage.”

Adams arrives by leaving his sixth career in a career at more than 1,000 yards, exceeding the brand in 2024 despite a trade in the raids in the jets.

In 11 years, Adams has captured 957 assists for 11,844 yards and 103 affected. He has an average of 1,228 yards and 11 affected per season of 17 games (he entered the league before he came up against 17 to 16 years) and led the league twice receiving affected.
Nacua looks at her eyes wide while Adams shows him new nuances on the roads and how to better capitalize on her lever effect.

Mcvay echoes several Rams sources on Thursday saying that Stafford would have played in recent weeks if it was the regular season when he left out in the training camp.
Stafford has missed the joint practice of RAMs this week with the cowboys and will not participate in the joint practice of the RAMS-loads next week.
But if a Saturday training session is going well, said Mcvay, Stafford will return to Rams training on Monday.

Nacua said that he was “very confident” in Stafford’s ability to reintegrate quickly, the quarter-rear continuing to discuss offensive adjustments with his receivers while being unable to train. Stafford looks at Adams “Add tools to everyone’s skills set,” said Nacua, and assessing what everyone means for their ability to combat contact, continuing to run and enter and get out of breaks.
“There is a master’s degree in the football field and especially our offense,” said Nacua about Stafford. “His standard for himself always facilitates the fact of being here because he wants to put it on the right shoulder, the palm before, at each cut. Each route that he knows exactly where is the best place to put the ball against, whether based on the defense or how a receiver could grasp it differently from another.”
Stafford control helped Nacua at 2,476 yards and nine affected in two regular seasons despite six missing games last year. Adding Adams to the mixture after Kupp, thinks Nacua, will only unlock another level of potential.
“I learned, I have the impression, at an accelerated pace because of them,” said Nacua. “It’s like a dream come true.”
