A Classic PlayStation 3 game has randomly received a list for a remaster PlayStation 5, but is there really a truth or does anyone simply draw our collective leg?
The title PlayStation 3 Little large planet was a fairly enormous success when he returned in 2008, to the point that he even generated two suites. At one point, Sony even used Littlebigplanet Main character, Sackboy, as mascot for the whole PlayStation brand.
However, things do not seem too bright for the franchise since the release of Littlebig plane 3 in 2014.
The game servers slowly started to go out last year, and Littlebig plane 3 has even been struck off from the PlayStation Store.
Consequently, many of us supposed that Sony had finished with the Little large planet franchise. However, the Twitter user @nextGenPlayer noticed something strange last night: an IMDB list for Remastered littlebigplanet I just got out of nowhere, and he even has the PlayStation 5 Box Art on the page.
So, does that mean that we are finally getting a new LBP game? Does Sony really plan to relaunch the Dead series?
No! Well, at least I don’t think.
I don’t think it’s a kind of leak. I think some Muppets have a little fun with people.
You see, here is a crazy thing about IMDB: anyone can make a page.
It sounds good, I know, but making a false page on IMDB is not really difficult. I have probably written a dozen stories exactly like this in my career, where a page for a big project appeared there … Only to discover that it is never an official project in the first place.
In addition, Sony would have announced this themselves before putting it on IMDB. The leaks are one thing, but no one of the Sony public relations team will be stupid enough to put an IMDB page into service before any official announcement.
Sorry, but I think it is wrong. I would love to be wrong, however.
