Prime Video’s new animated series is out early and free to watch

New Amazon Prime Video animated series released early, along with first adult fantasy episode The mighty Nein is available to watch for free.

Prime Video has released the first episode of The mighty Nein on YouTube for eager fans eager to see what the series has in store. The series focuses on a powerful arcane relic called The Beacon, as it is possessed by a group of criminals and misfits. They must learn to work together to save the kingdom and prevent reality from completely collapsing.

The mighty Nein is set to be released on November 19, with the first three episodes available on Prime Video when it debuts.

In the first episode, you meet a down-on-his-luck wizard named Caleb Widogast (voiced by Liam O’Brien), a wild goblin girl called Nott the Brave (voiced by Sam Riegel), and the brash Beauregard Lionett (voiced by Marisha Ray). Its setting is in Exandria, which is the same as The Legend of Vox Machina.

According to its creators, Critical Role, there will be changes in what is seen in the series compared to the tabletop game, so everyone will be in shock and surprise. This is Critical Role’s second tabletop campaign, but unlike Vox Machinathe antiheroes are the stars of this story. The official Prime Video synopsis of The mighty Nein East:

“The Mighty Nein tracks down a group of outcasts, criminals, and misfits forced to work together when an arcane artifact is stolen by wizard assassins. After the relic, known as “The Beacon,” causes a massive frontier explosion, sending Wildemount to the brink of war, the Mighty Nein unwittingly becomes the only hope of preventing reality itself from collapsing“.

Showrunner Tasha Huo, with credits in The Witcher: Blood Origin And Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croftspoke about the new series and said:

“A lot of the adaptation was asking, ‘Okay, where do these characters actually come from?’ And now that we have the time and space to really show them coming together for the first time, let’s take these 44 minutes and really see who they are, why they don’t trust each other when they first meet, and why it’s actually hard for them to come together.

The Legend of Vox Machina received rave reviews upon its 2022 release and had three fun seasons. It has a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 100% and is currently planning to release season 4 next year.which could lead to potential crossovers with the band of marginalized people from The mighty rein.

Voice actor Ray spoke about The mighty rein against. The Legend of Vox Machina and said: “Many people noticed that the tone was a bit darker. You know, so if I don’t know if Vox Machina was The Hobbit, then here’s Lord of the Rings“.

It’s great to see anti-heroes tell their stories, and people love supporting underdogs, as Marvel’s success shows. Love at first sight*film released earlier this year.
