Premier League Player Power Rankings 2025/26

The Premier League is the most watched league on the planet and home to the world’s greatest players.
Mohamed Salah established himself as one of the best wingers of all time last season, winning the PFA Player of the Year award for a record third time. But who is currently the best player in the English elite?

            50-41

| 50. Alex Iwobi | Fulham |
| 49. Benjamin Sesko | Man Plain |
| 48. Rec James | Chelsea |
| 47. Tijjani Reijnders | Man City |

| 44. A camera box | Villa Aston |
| 43. Jan Paul van Hecke | Brighton |
| 42. Cody I | Liverpool |
| 41. Gianluigi Donnarumma | Man City |
Benjamin Sesko enters the top 50 for the first time after scoring in back-to-back games for Manchester United, while Tijjani Reijnders’ hot start to the season has stalled, with just one assist since his opening masterclass against Wolves.
Like his compatriot, Cody Gakpo’s superb start to the season is under threat despite his goal in the defeat to Chelsea, with Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike threatening his place in Liverpool’s best XI.
            40-31

| 40. Marc Guéhi | Crystal Palace |
| 39. Robin Roefs | Sunderland |
| 38. Igor Thiago | Brentford |
| 37. Ismila says | Crystal Palace |
| 36. Alison | Liverpool |
| 35. If gvviol | Man City |
| 34. Riccardo Califiars | Arsenal |
| 33. Enzo Fernández | Chelsea |
| 32. Anton Stach | Leeds |
| 31. Jeremiah Doku | Man City |
Robin Roefs has been one of the signings of the season so far, making a stunning save in the Black Cats’ 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford, while Anton Stach continues the theme of summer arrivals having a big impact, scoring once and being a fixture in the middle of the park for Leeds.
Igor Thiago is another new face taking the top flight by storm, already scoring four times for Brentford, although he missed a big chance in the Bees’ defeat to Manchester City. Alisson Becker was the only thing standing in Liverpool’s way and a mauling in their recent defeat at Crystal Palace, and Jeremy Doku had three assists in just four starts.
            30-21

| 30 | Arsenal |
| 29. Bruno Guimaraes | Newcastle |
| 28. Yankuba Minteh | Brighton |
| 27. Martin Zubimendi | Arsenal |
| 26. João Pedro | Chelsea |
| 25. Nick Woltemade | Newcastle |
| 24. David Raya | Arsenal |
| 23. Daniel Munoz | Crystal Palace |
| 22. Nick Pape | Newcastle |
| 21. Mark Senesi | Bournemouth |
Bukayo Saka’s injury problems mean it has been a slow start to the campaign by his high standards, but he returned to form with a goal in the win over West Ham, and is joined by his Spain teammates Martin Zubimendi and David Raya in the top 30.
Bournemouth continue to be one of the surprise packages of the season, with Marcos Senesi leading the way in defence, while Nick Woltemade joined Les Ferdinand and Alan Shearer as the only players to score in their opening three Premier League home games for Newcastle.
            20-11

| 20. Jaidon Anthony | Burnley |
| 19. Adam Wharton | Crystal Palace |
| 18. Bruno Fernandes | Man Plain |
| 17. Jarrod Bowen | Western Ham |
| 16. Giman Ndima | Everton |
| 15. Hugo Ekitike | Liverpool |
| 14. Sandro Tonali | Newcastle |
| 13. Mohamed is wrong | Liverpool |
| 12. Granit Xhaka | Sunderland |
| 11. Cristian Romero | Tottenham |
Jaidon Anthony is perhaps the best player in the Premier League that no one talks about, scoring four goals and an assist in a struggling Burnley side.
Mohamed Salah produced an end product as always, but there are concerns about his lack of involvement in Liverpool’s overall play.
            10

                            Jurrien Timber – Arsenal

Timber might just be the best right-back in world football right now, already scoring twice for Arsenal while dominating in defense, contributing to a Gunners rearguard that has conceded just three times in seven games so far.
            9

                            Mohammed Kudus – Tottenham

Kudus couldn’t have asked for a better start to life in north London, grabbing four assists as Spurs look to mount an unlikely title challenge.
            8

                            Virgil van Dijk – Liverpool

The Liverpool captain has been at his best once again this season, with a Reds backline struggling with Ibrahima Konate out of form and new full-backs struggling to settle in.
            7

                            Declan Rice – Arsenal

Much of Rice’s words at the Emirates Stadium may go unnoticed, but the England international was superb once again. Adding the end product to his game over the past 12 months, he has scored one goal and provided two assists so far this season.
            6

                            Jack Grealish – Everton

One of the early favorites for the season’s signing, Grealish proves his doubters at Everton wrong, adding spark to David Moyes’ steel. Scoring the winning goal last time out against Crystal Palace, the Englishman is gaining momentum ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
            5

                            Ryan Gravenberch – Liverpool

Last season’s PFA Young Player of the Year was sensational once again, scoring the opener in wins over Newcastle and Everton while averaging three tackles and interceptions per game and completing 88 per cent of his passes.
            4

                            Gabriel Magalhaes – Arsenal

If there is a serious challenger to Van Dijk’s crown at the top of the Premier League centre-back rankings, it is Arsenal’s Gabriel. The Brazilian has seen his partner change at times this season due to an injury to William Saliba, but he scored the winner against Newcastle and makes more than five clearances per game.
            3

                            Moises Caicedo – Chelsea

If there was one thing missing from Caicedo’s game, it was goals and assists, but no more. The Chelsea star scored a superb goal against Liverpool, his third of the season, and leads the league with four tackles per game (minimum five starts).
            2

                            Antoine Semenyo – Bournemouth

Semenyo was hot property this summer but has signed a new contract with Bournemouth, and the Cherries will be glad he did. The 25-year-old has six goals and three assists, and the only people happier than Andoni Iraola will be his Fantasy managers.
            1

                            Erling Haaland – Manchester City

Nine goals in 596 minutes of football. Haaland finds the back of the net once every 66 minutes. The scariest thing for other Premier League contenders is that the Norwegian only seems to be getting better.
