Leicester seeks to build a team capable of making an immediate return to the Premier League in 2026-20
It was a dark 2024-25 season for Leicester, which fought in all areas – but especially in defense. And club managers will want to improve the return to the championship, where they will be one of the favorites to obtain promotion in the Premier League.

Leicester threw views of the summer move for Michael Keane
As Football Insider (via Foxes of Leicester) reported, Leicester wishes to sign Keane, whose Everton’s contract expires on Monday. He will not be offered a new agreement, which means that he will be a free agent from Tuesday.
And Leicester is one of the clubs wishing to sign Keane, who would be an added addition to their team. Leeds was also linked to the 32 -year -old man, who made 253 Premier League appearances during his career.
If there are Premier League clubs for Keane, Leicester will surely find it difficult to secure his signature. But they could offer regular football, which would give them an advantage over those of the higher division.
Keane will have big decisions to be made in her next club, and since the pre-season will soon be underway for those who wish to sign it, it would not be surprising to see an imminent decision. Leicester has not yet offered a contract, but it would not be surprising to see an approach made for the defender, who made 12 appearances for England.
