Concord, California (KGO) – An earthquake of preliminary magnitude of 3.4 struck near Pinole on Sunday evening, according to the US Geological Survey.

The earthquake struck around 9:30 p.m. and had a depth of about 5.8 miles.

The tremor was also felt to the north as Vallejo.

There is no report of injuries or damage.
