Possible heat record to come for the Phoenix region

Phoenix (Azfamily) – We reached 108 degrees Tuesday in Phoenix and will see similar times for Wednesday in the Sun Valley.
The great story to come is our time of warming and our first readings of 110 degrees of the year. Saturday to Monday will bring the first days of alert due to extreme heat.
Times will climb to the potentially dangerous threshold with summits in the 112-114 range from Saturday. Please be cautious and avoid spending a lot of time in peak heat hours of the day.
Father’s Day will be very hot, so be sure to keep dad and the whole cool family if you intend to celebrate.
We will see strong pressure weaken and our temperatures slip on Tuesday, with peaks falling to 109 degrees. The average summit for this time of year is up to 105 degrees.
Wednesday storm prospects will be limited to the east of Arizona, and nothing is typing for Phoenix. Plan dry conditions for the next seven days in the valley.
Stay cool there!
