“Poor career development”; “The best talents”

Fans on social media have reacted to Marco Penge’s confirmation that he will not be joining LIV Golf for the upcoming season. The English golfer won the 2025 Spanish Open and plans to continue his journey on the PGA Tour for the upcoming season.

Following his victory, Penge discussed his plans to move to the United States and compete on the PGA Tour in an interview with Ten Golf. He said he was looking forward to playing against the “best players” in the world and win “national opening.“He said:

“I love playing golf and I would play every week if my team would let me. So yeah, I want to play against the best players in the world and I want to play National Opens like this. When you win a few National Opens, it’s something I’ll never forget and something my family will never forget. So that’s my plan.”

Flushing It Golf shared an article about Marco Penge on his X account (formerly Twitter) with a caption:

Marco Penge confirms to TenGolf that he will not join LIV Golf for the 2026 season and plans to become a member of the PGA Tour:“I’m leaving for America tomorrow with my wife to find a place for our move in January. So as far as I know I’m playing on the PGA Tour next year and hopefully I’ll have a great season and finish in the playoffs there and then I’ll come back to the DP World Tour and play the rest of the season here. “I love playing golf and I would play every week if my team would let me. So that’s my plan.”There’s been a lot of speculation in recent weeks that he might be considering a move, but I think this clears things up pretty decisively. Marco’s game is perfect for the PGA Tour with his tremendous distance and height at the top of his ball, as well as the quality of his putts. With his new confidence after winning 3 times this season, he can really make an impression.I look forward to seeing him compete next season wherever he decides to play his golf
